In 2006, I was invited to exhibit my sound installation in Armenia, a country I never knew before. As I studied about the origin, stories, tragedies of Armenia and the Caucuses region, I was deeply moved and inspired to install a work with the spirit of the “tea-room”; the restoration of true humanity. In short, the “Tea-room” was a room of reconciliation with beauty created in War period.
