"About The Author and the Translator" is part of an on-going experiment in language and poetics called “machines”.  A machine identifies a structure in a given text, then builds a set of constraints based on that structure and reapplies those constraints to the initial text to build a new text that is an expression of the initial text’s structure.  In this case, several versions of the same machine have been spoken and layered over one another to create a polyphony.
