"Pocket Films for Travelers" is based on the trips of artist Juliana Mundim around the world. The project is quite personal and it started with the feeling one of not belonging. Maybe as a way to find her "equals", the initial idea was to research other foreigners in the planet such as immigrants, tourists, nomads, outsiders or migrating birds. As the years of traveling went by something surprising happened: the more she traveled, the more she felt as part of the world. "Trip to Paperland" is one of the films made during the past years. It was all made inside New York´s found papers, receipts, tickets, hotel vouchers and others.
